My name is Kevin Miller, President at West Glens Falls Fire. I have been in this position for the last 5 years, and before that, I served as a Board of Director for 10 years. Durett Management has been are Treasurer for at least the last 15 years. Their Duties here include all the bank accounts, balancing thm and reconcile them, they are in charge of paying all bills that come in. The biggest job they have is doing the Town audit that is yearly. In the last 15 years that Durett Management has been doing th eroll of Treasurer, we never had any issues with any of the work they have done, they are professional and courteous. We have had no negative problems with the Town audit, and never had any missing money, everything is always accounted for. I would recommend Durett Management to anyone looking to hire them. It is my pleasure to write a letter of reference for Joan Durett. I was first introduced to Joan when my family needed assistance to help manage some of the finances for my 89-year-old aunt. We live nearly 4 hours away, and my aunt required help sorting through her mail. paying bills, and managing various on-line accounts. Joan quickly proved to be reliable and trust-worthy, and we called on her frequently to help with tasks we were not able to do ourselves from a distance. Joan and her team were also invaluable when we needed to transition my aunt from her home to nursing care. We had only a short amount of time to sort through her belongings, determine what to keep, and sell or donate the remainder. My family was quite overwhelmed by the process, and we called on Joan to help. She has many connections within the community, and she and her team were incredibly efficient in helping us find buyers for items that could be sold, find charities to take things we wanted to donate, and pack things to keep into a local storage unit.
